OUR STORY

Hi! Hey! Hola! Bonjour! Hallo! Nǐ hǎo!

We are the 2023-2024 ECC parent teachers for Cassandra Santos’ 5-6’s class.

We are also, and perhaps most importantly, Sebastian’s moms. Sebastian's attended ECC since the two's program and we absolutely love this school.

Our role is to facilitate communication and collaboration between y‘all, the parents, and the teachers.

We will organize certain events and initiatives to strengthen the partnership between home and school and support school activities and fundraising efforts.

SONIA FERREIRA

TOMMIE TAVARES-FERREIRA

Sonia has the harder job between the two of us, since she's a stay at home parent. She's readily available for playdates and you'll sometimes see her with our pug Nico at the school. Sonia is also a fluent Portuguese speaker, is an avid reader and loves Bravo.

TOMMIE TAVARES-FERREIRA

Tommie is the head of legal operations at a healthcare fin-tech start-up, Cedar. She co-hosts the podcast, Dear Legal Ops and also wrote an LGBTQIA+ coming of age novel entitled, There's So Much I Need to Say to You.
